Procurement of Information Technology equipment and Software for IBEX system

1. This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this program that appeared in Development Business, issue no. DB Reference No. WB 1067-03/16 posted on: 8th March 2016.
2. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank international Development Association and Development partners toward the cost of the PFM Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract.
3. The Ministry of Finance and Economic Cooperation (MOFEC), Channel One Programs Coordinating Directorate (COPCD) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of IT Equipment and software for IBEX System.

1. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 and as revised July 2014) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

3.  A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr). The method of payment will be cash.
4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM Addis Ababa time; The Bid shall be opened on June 20, 2018 at 2: 30 PM Addis Ababa time at the following address. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below Please refer no 8.
